SOFA MORPH is an interactive `sitting landscape made of rubber with several air chambers, which can be filled with air or emptied individually. The moving object reacts to the users input. The structure of the sofa has been derived by the natural principle of soap bubbles. The object is ruled by the two forces of air pressure and vacuum. It is in a sense a tensegrity structure. The object has a seemingly lively behaviour, inspired by the breath of a living creature.
